Bliss joined me and three friends over the weekend for a girls getaway to the beautiful Morro Bay, located on California’s Central Coast just a few hours from Los Angeles. We stayed at the Morro Bay Inn, nestled on 4,000 acres of protected land. Boasting waterfront views of the Bay and beyond to the wind sculptured sand dunes that spread along the ocean, The Morro Bay Inn is truly a magical place.
When we entered the property, the 100-year-old Monterey Cypress trees took my breath away. Neighboring to the south, a Blue Heron Rookery added to the amazing ambiance, as the majestic birds soared above, singing their lovely songs. Bliss was excited when we entered our room because there was a bag of dog treats waiting to welcome her! The Inn left us a map of all the dog parks in San Luis Obispo County where Bliss could run without a leash.
